Atmosphere is so warm and beautiful. Food is always so good. Reuben and Patty melt are my favorites. Onion Rings are really good and service is always great. Highly recommend and been going here and original for over 40 years.
Quite honestly the best place to stop in and eat a delicious burger cooked to temp. Thoughtful server, and lots of room to enjoy the great menu options. Fantastic onion rings too! Keep and eye on the kids burger deal if you're not up for a big burger patty. The rustic charm inside this restaurant speaks to the history of this location that survived the pandemic. Worth dining in for sure as the big spacious bar area leaves room for just drinks from their extensive beers on tap and special cocktails too!
The server (Paige)was such a nice young lady. We each ordered cheeseburgers med/med. rare and onion rings. One of the best burgers we have ever had! They were perfectly done and juicy. The onion rings were great too! The server said she asked for exactly what we wanted and they came that way. We will be back. Thank you for good service and delicious food.
Hubby has been eating here since (at least 50 years) a child and we have been eating here since we've known each other (42 years) We brought our kids when littles, teens and now they are adults with littles too - so we get larger table We generally go for the burgers but every so often we'll get other menu items. GARLIC SAUCE - don't skip asking for it ! It's generally served with the fried mushrooms - BUT we get a FULL order of onion rings and request the garlic sauce with them. Most of us also order a side of garlic sauce with our burgers too - try it ! It's a solid family focused, casual, good burger (along with other menu items) place which has never disappointed - can't believe I've never written a review previously ! Who could go wrong with plastic cups for kids, bendy straws for everyone, and ice cream sandwiches offered with each children's entree (upon adult approval of course ). Ohhh and don't forget to grab your favorite flavor dum dum sucker on the way out.
When you talk to people about Alfies they all have been going there for years. I've been here many times since we moved nearby. The place has a real warm and cozy vibe. They get their food out quickly and it's simple but good. I've only gotten the cheese burger there. It's basic, yet yummy! It comes plain and you can add on grilled onions or extras. The fries are always plentiful, hot and crispy. It's a great restaurant to bring the family to. It has that welcoming family vibe! We will be back!
